Game night last week was a little different, mostly because I spent the bulk of my time with a group of new folks to the group, so a lot of what I played was on the lighter and shorter end of the spectrum. But the main event of my evening was getting the gorgeous new Kickstarter version of Euphoria: Build a Better Dystopia to the table. And one of the coolest thematic parts of the game are these different markets that you can build, all of which have cool, 1984-ish doublespeak names… the best of which is below:
And on top of the coolness that is the name itself, it’s made better by a few little details. The game pictured in the artifact space is Stonemeier Games’ first offering, Viticulture. And the dude in the picture standing by the bonfire is Jamey Stegmeier, designer of the game.
